Captain Curt Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal), a U.S. Air Force pilot on a mission in Afghanistan, suddenly wakes up to find himself on a high-speed train, and beside him sits a woman he has never met, Christian ( Michelle Monaghan), who is speaking to him. Cole does not know why he is on this train, and he finds himself actually existing as another person. Just when he is confused, there is a sudden explosion on the train ...... Cote wakes up once again to find himself in a closed space silo with a female officer Goodwin (Vera Farmiga) is talking to herself via video and asks her to report what happened on the train. Before a confused Curt can figure out what is going on, he is once again put on that train. After this time, Kurt finally understood that he was on a mission to investigate the Chicago train bombing to find the terrorist and find out his next target. Kurt was put on that high-speed train again and again, each time only eight minutes...
