Set in the 1970s, 17-year-old nightclub waiter Eddie (Mark Wahlberg) is born with a huge secret weapon, and by chance he is spotted by porn director Jack (Burt Reynolds). Eddie changes his stage name to Dirk, and under Jack's tutelage, he becomes a huge star in the porn industry. Because of the popularity of their movies, Jack and Dirk are able to reap the benefits of fame and fortune and live a life of luxury. However, after the 1980s, the pornographic movie industry underwent a major change, the past glorious history was gone, and Dirk and Jack, the best partners in the pornographic movie industry, also went their separate ways.
