Anne's (Kristin Scott Thomas) daughter Grace (Scarlett Johansson) likes to ride horses, but she and her friend fell off the horse in an accident. Her friend died, Grace also broke a leg, and her beloved horse "Pilgrim" was injured beyond recognition. Grace's heart was shrouded in a lingering haze.The mother was very anxious.
