Nineteen-year-old Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) travelled from Minnesota to New York's West Village with a guitar on his back, and his folk songs were recognised by idols and fans alike, making him a rising star on the New York folk scene, where he made his debut on the electric guitar at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. In 1965, at the Newport Folk Festival, Bob Dylan used an electric guitar on stage for the first time, not only changing the definition of folk music, but also rewriting the future of American music.
