Based on the novel by Taichi Yamada, the film follows Adam (Andrew Scott), a London screenwriter, who stumbles across his mysterious neighbor (Paul Maska), after which Adam returns to his childhood home, where he discovers that his long-dead father (Jamie Bell) and mother (Clare Foy) are actually still alive - and that they appear to be the same age they were on the day of their deaths, thirty years earlier.
