Half of all life in the universe goes up in smoke. The desperate avengers find thanos (Josh Brolin) in hiding with the help of captain marvel (Brie Larson), only to learn that six infinity stones have been destroyed and their hopes are shattered. Five years later, ant-man (Paul Rudd), lost in the quantum realm, unexpectedly returns to the real world. Tony (Robert Downey Jr.), who has resolved his feud with captain America (Chris Evans), finds a way to travel through time and space, as the scattered superheroes gather again, traveling through different eras to collect infinite gems. In the process, thanos of the parallel universe becomes aware of their plans.
