When one of them, Dirk, betrays them, the police are alerted and Miles has no choice but to run away and hide the diamonds in the ventilation ducts of an unfinished building before being captured. Two years later, Miles is released from prison, but everything seems to have changed on the outside, his girlfriend no longer needs him, and the building where he hid the diamonds is now a police station! To get the diamonds back, Miles steals an ID card and uses the forged file to infiltrate the police station under the guise of a cop. Myers quickly excels with his burglary experience and is rehired at the police station, and with the diamonds in the pipe flushed and unaccounted for, Myers is forced to stick with the pretence. Soon after, Dirk reappears in order to get his hands on Myers' diamonds...
