Polina (Sigourney Weaver) was once brutalized by a man, and blindfolded, she never knew who the culprit was, and her personality became psychotic. When her husband Gerardo (Stuart Wilson) returns home after being elected chairman of the committee, he notices that Polina has some even stranger behavior than usual. She even pushes the car of a visiting neighbor, Miranda (Ben Kingsley), off a cliff, and with the tape “Death and the Virgins” in Miranda's car, as well as Miranda's scent and breath, Polina is convinced that Miranda is the one who was responsible for the violence against her at the time.She goes crazy and ties Miranda up in her room to try the criminal with her husband. However, Miranda has a clear alibi, which makes it difficult for her husband to believe in Polina's determination as well.
