After ten years of the Cold War, Scrooge McDuck is once again reunited with his estranged nephew, Donald Duck, when he is brought in to care for his three nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie. The newcomers rekindle Scrooge's sense of adventure, and he invites the four to stay at McDuck Manor with him, his housekeeper, Mrs. Beakley, and her granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack. Together they take part in many new treasure-hunting expeditions and globe-trotting adventures while competing with villains such as Flintheart Glomgold, the Beagle Boys and Mark Beaks.
