Four teenage girls, Maddie (Hedy Burress), a photography enthusiast who documents everything with her camera, Rita (Jenny Lewis), a timid and introverted girl, Goldie (Jenny Shimizu), who comes from a wealthy family but is always beaten by her father, and Biolet (Sarah Rosenberg), are living their usual school lives at an art school.
