Zeus had always enjoyed his position as king of the gods. Until he woke up one morning and noticed a wrinkle on his forehead. Neurosis began to set in, sending him down a dangerous, paranoid path. Zeus is convinced that his fall is imminent and begins to see the signs of it everywhere.Zeus' once reliable brother, Hades, the god of the underworld, is secretly letting go of his grip on the dark world. With a large number of dead waiting to be dealt with, they are becoming restless. Hera (Jenny McTeer), the Queen of Heaven, rules the Earth as well as Zeus in her own unique way. But her power and freedom are threatened by Zeus' growing paranoia and she is forced to take action. Zeus' rebellious son, Dionysus (Nabhan Rizwan), on the other hand, is out of control and on the verge of a comet-colliding conflict with his father.On Earth, people long for change, yet Poseidon (Cliff Curtis), god of the sea, storms, earthquakes (and warhorses), is more concerned with the size of his superyacht and the location of his next party. He's not interested in the well-being of mortals. Unfortunately for the gods, some mortals have begun to realize this Reidy (Aurora Perino), Orpheus (Kieren Scott), Canois (Micha Butler), and Ali (Layla Farzad) are mortals who come from different walks of life and whose fates are linked in the battle against Zeus. Each plays a very different role, and any one of them could be the fated Godslayer.
