Art (Bruce Willis) is an FBI agent who, unfortunately, has been demoted instead of being recognized by his superiors for his excellent work and maverick personality. During an operation, Art is tasked with finding a nine-year-old boy named Simon (Miko Hughes). However, a group of vicious killers arrive at Simon's house before Art does, brutally murdering Simon's parents while the boy escapes by hiding in a closet.It turns out that Simon, though young, is quite good at math, and by chance, he breaks the U.S. military's intelligence code, which leads to a murderous death for him.
