Elizabeth (Norah Jones) is dumped by her boyfriend, sad and bitter, she throws her keys in the coffee shop. Jeremy (Jude Law), the owner of the coffee shop, keeps a lot of keys, each one buried with a sad story. Elizabeth, who loves the blueberry cake that no one orders at the store, decides one night to leave New York and travel across the United States to see everywhere. On her journey, she meets a separated couple who are clearly in love but stuck with each other, and a young girl (Natalie Bowman) who is a gambler but rarely comes home to visit her father, and writes a postcard to Jeremy every time she visits a place. In the mirror of others, Elizabeth finds the true meaning of love, returns to New York, sees Jeremy waiting for her, and can be happy, eat another guest of blueberry cake, and rest assured to enjoy the joy of love.
