The film tells the story of a little girl, Fifi, who runs to the moon. Growing up listening to her mother's love story about Chang 'e and Hou Yi, Feifei believes chang 'e is the eternal embodiment of true love. A few years after her mother's death, Feifei was devastated when her father prepared to remarry. To defend her family, and to prove to her father that Chang 'e is still waiting for Houyi on the moon, and that the eternal true love she represents is real, Fifi builds a "rocket ship" of her own and starts a wonderful journey to the moon.
