Ruth (played by Lucy Liu) and her husband Chris (played by Chris Sullivan) move into a new home in the suburbs with their son Taylor (played by Eddie Madai) and daughter Chloe (played by Karina Liang). Chloe is sad because she lost her best friend. She often quarrels with her brother because of her disagreement. In addition, her mother's preference for her brother makes her feel helpless. After arriving at the new home, she quietly feels that there seems to be a strange spiritual power in this home. This power has been around her from the beginning and gradually shifted to affect the whole family, so the family must figure out what this mysterious power wants to tell them.
