The eastern Slavic republic is one of many emerging countries that declared independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet union and the declaration of independence by former socialist countries under the Soviet system. Yet east slavonia is deeply polarised, its society badly unbalanced, and the rebels have been fighting government forces for more than a decade. As time goes into the 21st century, wars between the two sides become more and more fierce. There are even rumors of "monsters" joining in, and wars begin to develop in an uncertain direction. Leon was sent to east slavonia to investigate the chemical and biological weapons. In the chaos, he was captured by the rebels, but parasite-controlled humans quickly stormed their habitats and cities. Meanwhile, IDA came to eastern slavonia with a mysterious purpose. War has destroyed everything, nourishes the demons, and can Lyon stop things from getting worse.
