It's been 10 years since the Witzburg massacre shocked the nation, and the survivor, Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell), has finally moved on from her past after enduring unimaginable pain and suffering. She wrote a book about her ordeal and made a movie series that became a national sensation. On her last round of nationwide book signings, Sydney traveled to her hometown of Weitzburg. However, bad luck seems to follow, the night before two young girls were killed in the home by the ghostface killer, Sidney's carriage more found with blood knife. Sheriff David (David Arquette) is highly concerned about this, and his wife Gail (Courteney Cox) actively pursue the real killer.
