Jake (jean-marc Barr) grew up on the Greek coast, and though he watched his father die in a diving accident as a child, it didn't diminish his love of the sea. When jack's friend enzo (Jean Reno) comes to him and tries to persuade him to take part in the diving championship, jack agrees and wins the championship with outstanding results and the love of Joanna (Rosanna Arquette). The two are so hot that jack realizes he can't let go without the sea.The accident happened. When his friend enzo dies in diving, jack puts enzo's body into the sea. Jack is very confused. He feels that he is no longer a member of human society. Despite the news of Joanna's pregnancy, jack looks affectionately at his lover and turns to the sea.
