After preventing the end of the world in 1963, the Umbrella Academy returned to the present, convinced that they had prevented the original apocalypse and completely repaired this forgotten timeline. After a brief moment of celebration, however, they realize that they have (completely) miscalculated. The smart, stylish and icy Sparrow Academy and the Umbrella Academy clash in a heated confrontation, yet this is far from the Umbrella Academy's biggest trouble. The Umbrella Academy will face the challenges, losses and surprises head on and get to grips with an unknown entity wreaking havoc in the universe (and it may be of their own making). Now all they need to do is convince Dad's new (and possibly better) family to help right the wrongs caused by their arrival. Will they be able to find a way back to before the world ended? Or is this new world more than just a small mistake in the timeline, and a major disaster is on the horizon?
